In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 Maps and Navigation apps in the United Arab Emirates showcased varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for these leading apps.

Careem – rides, food & more saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at approximately 17K at the beginning of April and peaking at 37K in mid-April. The app maintained a consistent range of active users, with a high of around 83K in early June.

S'hail experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads over the quarter, starting at around 12K in early April and declining to just over 3K by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic enjoyed a strong performance in terms of weekly active users, with numbers consistently above 300K, peaking at 334K in mid-April. Weekly downloads also showed a rising trend in April, reaching a high of 27K before stabilizing around 10K to 12K towards the end of June.

Yango Maps demonstrated a similar pattern, with weekly downloads peaking at 22K in mid-April and gradually decreasing to about 4K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, with a notable peak of 41K in late April.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer had a modest performance with weekly downloads peaking at around 5K in mid-April and then dropping to approximately 2K by late June. Active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 4.7K in late April and then decreasing to about 3.4K by the end of June.
